€55,000 in funding has been allocated for the Kerry Age Friendly Programme.
The allocation was revealed by Kerry County Council's Chief Executive, Moira Murrell, at the recent council meeting.
The funding was secured under the 'Creativity in Older Age 2021 Programme'.

It will go towards projects including the dance for the "young at heart" programme, Modern Day Mummers and COVID Care Concerts.
