Cahersiveen native and CNN journalist Donie O'Sullivan has been nominated for an Emmy award, America's prestigious annual television honours.
Donie has been a rising star in CNN in recent times, but his coverage of the Capitol riots in Washington earlier this year, earned him worldwide fame.
It was his story from April 2020, about an American woman at the centre of a conspiracy theory, which earned him the nomination.

Donie is currently on holidays at home in Cahersiveen.
