Dingle Distillery International Film Festival starts today

Dingle Distillery International Film Festival today kicks off at 6 o’clock this evening in the Skellig hotel.

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will be at the launch of the event. 

He is part of Alan Gilsenan’s documentary ‘We Only Want the Earth’ which will be shown at 7 o’clock tomorrow evening

Mr. Ahern will also feature in a panel discussion before the screening.

Now in its third year, the festival is host to a number of movie screenings and workshops, and is also in collaboration with Michael Fassbender’s West End House School of Arts.

Festival goers will get the chance to hear from industry names across the weekend, including actor Aidan Gillen and producer Winston Azzopardi, who worked on Gladiator II and Napoleon
