Kerry County Council says it plans to review off-street car parking in Killorglin town.
The information was provided in response to a motion from Independent councillor Podge Foley at the recent meeting of Kenmare Municipal District.
Cllr Foley sough an update on the status of off-street parking in the town, in particular at the courthouse car park.
The council advised there are currently no parking restrictions in the Fair Field car park, and introduction of such would require a strategy review.
It says it intends to review all off-street parking in Killorglin as part of its works programme for 2026.
The council added it’s also seeking to acquire additional land for new off-street parking in the area.
