Kerry County Council says The Square in Kenmare is now clear following severe flooding this morning due to torrential rain overnight.

The N70 at Sneem is also clear but the road at Foilmore is down to one lane as there is still a lot of water on the road due to a blocked culvert.

A bridge over a stream on the Glenmore local road near Lough Currane in Waterville has collapsed.

Kerry County Council is at the scene and it is hoped a temporary structure will be in place later today to provide access for those living in the area.
