New swim distance marker buoys have been installed in Kells Bay Beach, Cahersiveen.
These markers have been place at 100 metre intervals to create a 600 metre sea swimming circuit.
Cork Kerry Community Healthcare put the buoys in to increase safer swimming among novice and experienced open water swimmers.

Kerry County Council erected signage to identify and explain how to use the swim distance markers.
