Consultants for the proposed Milltown Bypass Scheme will be appointed shortly.
Kerry County Council says the N70 Milltown Bypass received an allocation of €200,000 this year to develop the project. Currently, a route selection report is being finalised and the procurement of engineering consultants is underway.
It's expected the consultants will take the scheme through the statutory consent process and onto tender publication stage.
