Consultants to oversee the multi-million-euro Tralee Flood Relief Scheme are due to be appointed next month.
Tenders for the appointment of engineering and environmental consultancy services are currently being assessed.
The successful company will design the scheme, carry out environmental assessments and progress the scheme through the planning process.

Kerry County Council says the design phase will involve extensive consultation with councillors and the local community.
