The closing date is approaching for applications for this year's Kerry Community Awards.
Kerry Community Awards are open to all community and voluntary groups based in the county that works to improve the social, economic, cultural or environmental quality of life in the area.The annual awards ceremony rewards entries short-listed on the night with the top 20 entries receiving a monetary prize and plaque.
The overall winner receives an overall monetary prize and trophy.
Last year’s overall winner, Cúnamh Iveragh, who support children and young adults with special intellectual needs in south Kerry found winning the award helped drive them on to introduce new initiative for the families they work with.
This year’s closing date is Friday, 27th June.
