The owners and directors of a private school in Kerry that has ceased trading have given a commitment to refund money paid.

Last Wednesday, Brookfield College in Monavalley, Tralee informed students via email that it was closing and not accepting senior cycle students for this academic year.

The company said it has suffered a significant loss as a result of the COVID-19 crisis and had very few new enrolments for the upcoming year.
