Climber in his 40s rescued from Mount Brandon

A man in his 40’s was rescued off Mount Brandon yesterday evening.

Valentia Coastguard received the call at half past 3 yesterday afternoon and tasked Dingle Coast Guard to the scene.

Due to adverse weather conditions, the Rescue helicopter was unable to be sent to the scene.

Dingle Coast Guard brought the men to safety, at around 6 o'clock yesterday evening.
