A former mayor of Killarney will be honoured by the town this Christmas.
Donal Grady was first elected to Killarney Town Council in 1999 and passed away last year.
The star on the Tree of Light at St. Mary’s Cathedral will be dedicated to the late councillor.

Chairman of the Christmas in Killarney festival, Councillor Niall Kelleher, said the star is a fitting tribute to a man who contributed enormously to the town.
