Kerry will not be an outpost to Cork in the Munster Technological University.
That’s according to the new Chairperson of the MTU’s Governing Body, Jimmy Deenihan.
The former government minister, senator, and Kerry Fine Gael TD says the new university provides huge opportunities for Kerry and the region.
He said there will be a strong emphasis on the connection between MTU, industry and business.
Every second meeting of the governing board of MTU will be held in Kerry.
