Castleisland student recognised at national Student Enterprise Awards

A Castleisland student has been recognised at the national final of the Student Enterprise Awards.

First year Castleisland Community College student Jack O’Sullivan won the best innovation award for his business Helpful Hoist.

This is a steel tool that helps young or weak calves and lambs to stand so they can be dosed.

Jack O’Sullivan won the junior category in the Kerry Student Enterprise Awards and went on to represent the county at the national finals recently.
