The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in County Kerry are being described as ‘the wild west’ in the Dail.
Its after a HSE review raised significant concerns about the treatment of children in North Kerry CAHMS, four years after similar issues were revealed in South Kerry CAHMS.
HSE CEO Bernard Gloster has apologised to the families impacted by the findings, saying those attending CAHMS services today should know it’s safe.
