Calls for restrictions to be eased in counties with few COVID-19 cases

There are fresh calls for restrictions to be eased in counties like Kerry where COVID-19 cases are low.

Latest figures from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre show Cork, Carlow, Kerry, Clare, Kilkenny and Sligo had fewer than 50 cases per 100,000 people over the past two weeks.

Independent deputy Michael Healy-Rae believes a regional approach would be fairer.
