There are calls for a COVID compliant outdoor meeting to discuss the N22 Farranfore to Killarney Road Improvement Scheme.
Deputy Michael Healy Rae and councillor Jackie Healy Rae say a public meeting is the only way to inform and discuss views on what could have a negative and life changing impact on the people of Tiernaboul and the greater Spa area.
Deputy Healy Rae said the online process is not good enough, especially when the outcome could be a longer trip to Killarney for some.
Both politicians have called for a public meeting to be held outdoors at Spa GAA Field.
Concerns were raised regarding the route of the project at the monthly meeting of Kerry Councty Council, however, council CEO Moira Murrell assured councillors the route is not yet selected.
