Burglaries in Kerry were down by almost a third last year.
Phonewatch Ireland, which provides monitored home safety systems, said there were 181 burglaries in Kerry last year. That's down 29% on 2019.
Nationally there were 11,000 burglaries last year, which was down 35%.

Phonewatch Ireland said the figures are not surprising considering how much time people spent at home during the lockdowns.
The company has warned people to remain vigilant as restrictions are lifted.
