A child has been seriously injured by a dog in Dingle.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the attack at approximately 7.30pm yesterday.
A boy was taken to University Hospital Kerry for treatment of serious, but non-life threatening, injuries.

Gardaí have confirmed that the dog involved has since been put down.
Investigations are ongoing.
