Bird's Euroshow funfair has been given the green light to operate in Killarney this Summer.
The funfair will return to its traditional location at the Fairhill Carpark after an absence last year due to the pandemic.
Last week, Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce said the funfair should be moved elsewhere in the town, given pressure on parking and space.

Kerry County Council says it was recently notified by Birds Funfair that they intended to operate in the Fairhill car park as usual this Summer, and, following discussions with the local authority, the funfair is currently moving onto the site.
The council says the operation of funfairs is permitted under the current public health restrictions.
