Kerry County Council says any person seeking a nomination for the Presidential election will have the opportunity to address the council in person.
To get on the ballot paper, candidates need the support of at least four local authorities or 20 Oireachtas members.
Kerry County Council says while plans are not yet finalised, anyone that seeks a nomination will be afforded an opportunity to make their request in person at a special meeting.
It says a subsequent meeting will then take place, and it’ll be decided if Kerry County Council will nominate a candidate for the Presidential election.
