Access route to Old Kenmare Road reopens following major work

The access road to Torc Mountain and the Old Kenmare Road in Killarney has reopened following road improvement works costing €382,000 euro.

The road, known locally as Tanks Road, runs from the N71 junction near Torc Waterfall to the upper car park in Torc.

It’s been closed to all traffic since the 17th of May to facilitate substantial reconstruction work.
