8% of adults in Kerry are vaping.
That's according to research by the Respect Vapers group, who are claiming that 9,717 adults in the Kingdom vape, with 4,859 using the habit to quit smoking.
New government legislation on the sale of vapes and e-cigarettes includes the restriction of flavoured vapes and liquids.
However, the Respect Vapers group, which represents over a quarter of a million people, says only allowing tobacco-flavoured vapes is missing the point when it comes to helping adults to quit smoking.
