59% of people thinking more about financial future since pandemic

A new Bank of Ireland survey shows 59% of people are thinking more about their financial future now, than before the pandemic.

Over a third of respondents (35%) are planning more for their retirement, but only 53% of those surveyed understand how pensions work.

The research reveals that while people are saving, they’re seeing little reward in the current ultra-low interest rate environment.
