Water may be obtained at 5 additional water tanker locations provided by Irish Water and Kerry County Council.
The new locations are in Barraduff Community Centre, Blennerville GAA pitch, Farranfore GAA club, and the carpark of Rathass Church in Tralee.
Irish Water and Kerry County Council will continue the operation of all tankers until 10 o'clock tonight and will leave them in place as there are some areas affected by the water outage that may take longer to replenish overnight.
The bodies said they may need access to tankers again for some homes and businesses in the morning. They say they have continued to respond to requests from hospitality and other businesses for assistance throughout the evening and the fire service has continued to help with these requests.
The water tankers are in Tralee in - O'Donnell's Bar, Mounthawk, Brandon Car Park, Our Lady and St Brendan's Church, and the carpark of Rathass Church.
