39 new social housing tenancies introduced within Listowel Municipal District this year

39 new social housing tenancies have been introduced in the Listowel Municipal District since the start of the year.

That’s according to information provided at the recent MD meeting, which show there is a total of over 1,200 (1,248) in the area.

The figures show 988 tenancies are in Local Authority housing; 130 are under HAP; and 92 are part of the Rental Accommodation Scheme.

Meanwhile, Kerry County Council lists 38 tenancies within the Listowel MD as leasing.
