29 vacant property refurbishment grants have been paid out within the Listowel Municipal District.
That’s according to figures released at a recent MD meeting, which show 158 applications have been made in the area since the scheme began.
95 have been approved during this period while a further three have been approved in principle.

Meanwhile, 17 sites in the Listowel MD are listed on the derelict sites register.
The figures show that there are a further 42 open case files for derelict sites in the area.
