There are 29 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.
23 patients are on trolleys in UHK's emergency department, while a further 6 people are waiting on trolleys in wards.

Nationally today, there are 458 patients awaiting beds.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 86 people on trolleys.
