235 patients had to wait on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry during May.
That's according to figures collated by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's TrolleyWatch system.
May's figure is down from April's figure of 325 patients being treated on trolleys, but up on February and March's figures.

Nationally, 10,557 patients were admitted to hospitals throughout the country without a bed to accommodate them.
