23 patients waiting for a bed at University Hospital Kerry today

There are 23 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Yesterday, 28 patients were waiting for a bed at UHK.

Nationally today, there are 472 waiting on trolleys.

Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded with 77 waiting on trolleys.
