There are 22 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
Nationally today there are 563 people waiting for a bed in hospital.

The most overcrowded is University Hospital Limerick where there are 130 people waiting on trolleys; this is a record-high for the hospital.
