There are 21 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.
14 people are on trolleys in UHK's emergency department, while a further 7 patients are waiting for beds in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Nationally today, there are 438 patients awaiting beds.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 120 people on trolleys.
