There are 21 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department today.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
Yesterday, there were 26 patients waiting on trolleys at UHK.

Nationally today, 632 people are waiting for beds in hospitals.
The worst affected is University Hospital Limerick where there are 98 people waiting on trolleys.
