200 Ukrainian refugees due to arrive in South Kerry

It’s believed 200 Ukrainian refugees are due to arrive in South Kerry in the coming weeks.

Radio Kerry News understands refugees are expected to stay in holidays home in the village of Portmagee.

To date, more than 3000 Ukrainians have sought refuge in Kerry, according to CSO figures.

Of those, 1,045 refugees are currently residing in Kenmare's local electoral area.
