There are 20 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.
12 patients are on trolleys in UHK's emergency department, while a further 8 people are on waiting on trolleys in wards.

Nationally today, there are 362 patients awaiting hospital beds.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 68 people waiting on trolleys.
