An 18-year-old man is due to appear at Mallow District Court at noon in relation to a seizure of 140,000 euro worth of drugs in Kilcummin.
Gardaí carried out a search of a wooded area yesterday morning where cannabis herb with an estimated street value of 130,000 euro was discovered.
A teenager was arrested and brought to Killarney Garda Station where he was detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

A follow up search of a house in Kilcummin led to the discovery of 10,000 euro worth of suspected cannabis herb.
The 18-year-old man is due to appear before Mallow District Court at noon; he is represented by Killarney solicitor Pádraig O'Connell.
