Maurice O’Connell 1936 – 2019 – April 3rd, 2019

The Moyvane man was Governor of the Central Bank from 1994 to 2002 and was at the helm when the euro replaced the punt as our currency. Neil Whoriskey, secretary to the Central Bank, and Seán Walsh from Moyvane paid tribute to Maurice O’Connell.
