On April 6th last, Richard Harris from Bruree was walking in Killarney when he had a cardiac arrest. Richard’s life was saved by the fact that Louth GP Daragh O’Neill was in the area at the time. Richard had to have a triple bypass. On this morning’s Kerry Today, he spoke for the first time to the man who saved his life. Richard is also very grateful to nurse Teresa Clifford for her role as well in saving him. Louise Devaney started compressions on Richard and also helped until the ambulance arrived.
