The Love Triangle Betrayal that Led to the Execution of Irish Soldiers – November 19th, 2019

Hedley Malloch has written ‘The Killing of the Iron 12’ which tells the story of the largest execution of British soldiers on the Western Front during World War 1. Six of the soldiers were Irish including Private John Nash from Rossmore Island. They were executed because of a jealous lover who discovered his much younger paramour was also having an affair with a teenage boy.
