Kerry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre Not Affected by Cyber Attack – April 17th, 2023

An investigation has been launched following a ransomware attack on a data management company in Northern Company which holds data for non-profit organisations and charities, including a number of groups that help victims and survivors of rape, abuse and sexual assault. Kerry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre is not affected. Manager Vera O’Leary speaks to Jerry and explains that they did not have a contract with the Northern Ireland company, Evide.
