Kerry County Council publishes map of dog attacks on sheep – June 25th, 2025

The map sets out to record the number of dog attacks reported to the local authority per townland over the past few years.

It shows 37 dog attacks on livestock have been reported in the last four years. Amber spoke to Councillor Fionnán Fitzgerald, whose idea it was to establish this map, and Patrick O’Mahony, IFA Kerry Hill Farming committee chair.
