This week’s been dominated by the printer that was bought for the Houses of the Oireachtas. Its total cost has come €1.8m due in part to the failure to take correct measurements which meant it was too big to fit in the printing room.
But there are parallels between this story and strangely enough, between the theft of the Irish Crown Jewels in 1907. Broadcaster Myles Dungan, who’s written a book about the theft, explained all to Jerry.
