Dear Joe and Domnick
Enclosed two photos Titled ' What a difference a day makes'.
I've being photographing and recording Tralee Bay and Estuary from Blennervill Bridge for many year's. These were shot on Dec 5th and 21st the shortest day of the year 2025. The sky was squizing every last ray of light from the Sun.
Rarely have I see such marked contrast between photos of the same scene.
Wishing you a light filled New Year.

Holly is associated with the Christmas season as its red berries and thorny leaves representing Christ blood and crown of thorns, while it's evergreen nature signifies eternal life. Ann Gurnett from Ardfert while shopping at Tralee was heading home with a beautiful bunch of holly to decorate her house. Yours Moss Joe Browne

Hi Joe
I have a photo for the competition on Saturday. Santa delivers a rescue kitten to a very excited 11 year old. The kitten is from Klaws rescue in Kenmare.

Hi Joe and Domnick,
Attached please find my photos for this month's In Focus supplement on the theme of 'Tis the Season.
Christmas is all about traditions, some old and some new. My first picture is of a tradition that dates back to the 16th century - the Christmas Tree! It has to be a real tree in our house, nothing can beat the smell of a real tree!
My second photo is of another tradition - the annual St Mary's Basketball Blitz. A thrilling men's final saw Limerick Celtic narrowly beat Killorglin with AJ Williams pulling the strings. My picture captures him as he drives towards the hoop under pressure from Eche Okeke.
Thanks as always for putting together such a great show and every best wish for 2026.
Warm regards,
Mark Nolan

Hi Joe and Dominic,
Following a lot of cloudy weather we were gifted some lovely light to celebrate the lead into the Christmas season. The two photos attached were both taken on the eve of Christmas Eve. One shows beautiful morning light over the Magllycuddy Reeks and Cromane reflecting on the still waters of Castlemaine Harbour, as viewed from Inch, creating an almost mystical atmosphere in keeping with the approaching Christmas. The second image shows the bright red sun sinking into the horizon on the same evening. The two beautiful scenarios seemed particularly appropriate in advance of the Christmas celebration about to arrive.
Wishing you both a very happy New Year. Best regards
Michael Kennedy
