Improving Mental Health Services to Help Prevent Tragedies – June 6th, 2023

Cormac Williams is a retired psychiatric nurse and member of the Psychiatric Nurses’ Association. He commended the family of Eileen and Jamie O’Sullivan from Lixnaw who were murdered by Mossie O’Sullivan, Eileen’s partner and Jamie’s father, in September 2021. Last week, following the inquest, the family stated they believed changes in legislation would help prevent future familicides. Cormac Williams isn’t as confident, however.
