The Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa died last Sunday at the age of 89. The 2010 winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature greatly admired Roger Casement. In 2009, he visited Kerry as part of his research into his novel, The Dream of the Celt, which included details of Casement's life.
