Yesterday was unprecedented in the history of Dáil Éireann. Micheál Martin was not elected Taoiseach, as would be expected, because of a row over some independent TDs being granted opposition speaking rights despite their pledging support for the incoming government. Danny Healy-Rae is among this group. Jerry put together a package of the key moments from the day.
