Last week, the Government announced there would be a pause on plans to reallocate special needs assistants which would have resulted in some schools losing some of their SNAs. Now, the Government has confirmed that there will be no reductions for the new school year beginning next autumn and that there will be an additional €19m invested in SNAs.
