Jerry spoke to Dr Gary Stack, who’s a director of services with SouthDoc, the out-of-hours GP service, and a Killarney GP about over €12.2m in capital funding that has been allocated for healthcare projects across Kerry for this year. The key projects include: a new bed block at University Hospital Kerry (UHK) under the Acute Inpatient Bed Capacity Expansion Plan, a new ambulance station in Cahersiveen and funding for the Killarney Injury Unit.
