Meet Iain Mentiply (aged 69) and Charles Jepson (aged 78) who set themselves the task from cycling to the North Pole to the South Pole in 7 days! OK, we should clarify that the North Pole is a bar in Donegal and the South Pole is the famed South Pole Inn that Antarctic explorer Tom Crean owned in Annascaul! Iain and Charles are fundraising for Epilepsy Ireland which supported his late brother-in-law Joe Griffin from Killorglin. The photo shows Charles as he and Iain made their way to the South Pole Inn today.
