'I’m sending you a few pictures of the wonderful sun set during the recent fine spell, my pictures don’t do it any justice, just took them from an open window in my house.
I don’t know what Dominic would make of them. I love your programme. Best Wishes' - Charles Fitzell

'This is an image I took at Minard last year. It was about 5.30 am. I used a 0.9 soft grad and a 6 neutral density filter with a 1 second exposure to give the impression of the movement in the water.' - John Keane

'I just wanted to send in these photographs to you taken on my phone. It's my 2 girleens at Gougane Barra this evening the 18th of September at 7.23 pm.
They were singing the Murphy’s song 'Dancing with the Fisherman' all evening and then they saw this man on the lake. It made their evening. He probably didn't catch much fish while he cast his line, as they kept singing to him! But it made my evening to see how happy they were. And to be honest I think he appreciated their efforts! He waved at them and whistled a tune. I know it's not a place in Kerry, but as a Kerry woman living in Cork, Gougane is the next best thing to the Kingdom.' - Nora Buckley.
